Eurovision Asia Grand Final Arrives in Bangkok: Travel Boom and Cultural Shift

The first Eurovision Song Contest Asia Grand Final will take place at One Bangkok Forum on 14 November 2026. Agoda has signed on as Official Travel Partner, offering accommodation discounts and an on-site studio for fans attending the Bangkok event.

Broadcasters from 11 countries will compete. Voxovation is organizing the inaugural contest under licence from the European Broadcasting Union, with S2O Productions producing it and Channel 3 serving as host broadcaster.

Assaf Blecher, Executive Producer of Eurovision Song Contest Asia, said the competition “brings 11 countries and some of the region’s most distinctive voices onto one stage for the first time.” He welcomed Agoda’s role in helping fans travel to Bangkok.

Searches point to regional interest

Agoda’s accommodation searches identify Thailand as the leading market for travel interest, followed by Japan, the Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan. South Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam and India complete the list.

The company examined searches made by Asian travelers between 1 July and 29 September 2026 for Bangkok stays between 9 and 22 November 2026. These figures measure search interest, not confirmed bookings.

Its accommodation offer provides discounts of up to 25% for Thailand stays between 9 to 16 November 2026. Bookings must be made through Agoda’s website by 14 November 2026. Tickets for the Grand Final and the Preview Show on 13 November are sold separately.

A booth beside the show

Agoda will open its Dot Studio at One Bangkok Forum on finale day. Fans, artists and other attendees will be able to record material in an interview studio, pose against photo backdrops and use a karaoke booth.

Lifestyle creators invited to Bangkok as Agoda Insiders have already interviewed performers at National Finals. During Grand Final week, they are expected to cover preparations and the event itself for regional audiences.

Kris Suebjaklap, Agoda’s Senior Vice President of Marketing, described the first Asian Grand Final as a milestone. “It also falls at one of the most popular times of year to visit Bangkok, and we are seeing interest in the city from Asian travelers over the Grand Final period,” he said.

Getting to One Bangkok

Lumphini MRT Station connects directly to One Bangkok through an air-conditioned underground walkway. The surrounding district contains public art, shops, restaurants and cafés, while Lumphini Park is nearby. Silom and Sathorn offer bars, clubs and late-night food after the show.

Accommodation around the venue ranges from hotels in Sathorn and boutique properties around Silom and Lumphini to serviced apartments for groups. The Chao Phraya riverside is a short ride away.

Agoda lists other activities through the same booking page, including the King Power Mahanakhon SkyWalk, live Muay Thai at Rajadamnern Stadium, SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World and Skyflyers.

The Singapore-headquartered company is part of Booking Holdings and trades under its Nasdaq ticker, BKNG. It says its network covers over 6 million hotels and holiday properties. Its website and mobile app operate in 39 languages, with 24/7 customer support and over 7,500 employees globally. Voxovation, founded in 2018, holds the European Broadcasting Union’s exclusive licence to expand Eurovision into new international markets.
