The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Kuala Lumpur City Opera Chorus take the stage at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas on Saturday, 5 December 2026 at 8pm. Conductor Junichi Hirokami leads the programme. The concert runs roughly 80 minutes with a 20-minute intermission.
What to expect
Works by Wagner, Verdi, Bizet, Puccini, Mozart and Borodin fill the bill. The MPO and the chorus trade focus across famous opera choruses. No solo arias are listed. The hall sits inside the Petronas Twin Towers, above Suria KLCC.

Tickets sell only through the DFP Box Office at dfptickets.sales.ticketsearch.com. Prices are RM199, RM249, RM299, RM349; Suite seats cost RM399 or RM449 each. A RM5 ticket fee and a 3.5 percent online fee apply on top. Unofficial or resale tickets may be refused at the gate.
Getting there
From central Kuala Lumpur the hall is a 15-minute walk to the Petronas Twin Towers. The entrance is inside the towers above Suria KLCC. A Grab ride takes about five minutes depending on traffic; ask for drop-off at Suria KLCC. After the show the area is busy and the walk back is often quicker than waiting for a car.
